The Bathway Theatre at the University of Greenwich houses six multi-purpose studios and a flexible 100-seat theatre space. Situated in the heart of Woolwich, the theatre is well-positioned among an established and emerging cultural scene in South-East London, which will be further strengthened with the opening of Woolwich Works in Autumn 2021. As well as welcoming a number of visiting companies and artists, and supporting numerous community engagement initiatives, the Bathway Theatre is also home to the BA (Hons) Drama and MA Contemporary Performance (in partnership with ZU-UK) degree programmes.

The Theatre

The Theatre can be used in multiple configurations with a fully adjustable seating bank that can be place in thrust and in the round comfortably for 80 people. We have created additional seating areas and managed to squeeze up to 120 seated.

The lighting truss is 4750mm heigh with typically a 1300mm deep border. A 1500mm wide tab sits stage left and stage right on the truss, with hard masking continuing to mask left and right. Leaving a gap for either side for access for our workshop stage right and to a fire exit stage left.
