Elizabeth Peace is a multidisciplinary artist, facilitator, and producer from Thamesmead, South London. Having graduated from the University of Manchester with a BA in Politics, Philosophy and Economics in 2019, and obtained an Acting Diploma from the Oxford School of Drama in 2020, she is currently working as an actor, writer & freelance creative producer with projects in theatre & film whilst being a part-time carer.

The motivation behind her work is an enduring interest in people; in the human spirit, its emotional resonance, and the way over time it manifests in our relationship with others. Her recent producing work includes, The Wicked Problem, a co-production with Contact Theatre supported by Season for Change, Julie’s Bicycle, Artsadmin, and C-Change. Match/Play, a tiata fahodzi theatre programme created to celebrate its 25th anniversary and The Golden Boy, a short film exploring autism within the Black-British community executively produced by the Academy-Award winning, Slick Films.

As an actor, she has starred in numerous short films, working with Qatari-American artist, Sophia Al-Maria, in Beast Type Song (2019) & Tiger Strike Red (2022) and featured in motion-capture games under Supermassive Games, The Devil In Me & SwitchBack VR

Often referencing her experiences as a 1st generation immigrant, Elizabeth touches on the African diaspora, racial environmental justice, intergenerational trauma, Black British history, and the LGBTQ+ community. Currently, she is supported by Purple Moon Drama, Arts Council England, and Foundation for Future London to research and develop a new epic play, The Women’s War, as part of an artist incubator exploring the untold rebellion against the British Empire by Igbo women in 1929.

She is excited to start developing a new performance piece centred on Black women’s experience of anger, PTSD & mental health as Associate Artist at Bathway Theatre.

Elizabeth is represented by JBR Creative Management
