Stoppard’s witty comedy flits between the Regency period and now, exploring the nature of truth and time.
Directed by Lucy Jones, the play is a response to the Chaos Theory, where the course of our world is predicted by history, mathematical theories, and scientific progress. Life is unpredictable, and what makes it unpredictable is love – “the attraction that Newton left out”.
